Sennett, Parish graduates to deliver CCC commencement addresses

Auburn, NY -- Two graduating students will be the featured speakers May 17 at Cayuga Community College.
The students are Weston Eldred, of Sennett, and Scott McManus, of Parish.
The college will hand out 535 associate degrees. The graduation exercises are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. in Spartan Hall.
A reception on the quad for graduates, families and friends will follow immediately after the commencement. In the event of rain, the reception will be held in the Spartan hall foyer.
Eldred, a student at the college's Auburn campus, is a 2009 recipient of the Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence, the highest recognition given to students by the State University of New York.
He is a graduate of Skaneateles High School and will enroll this fall at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry as a bioprocess/chemical engineering major.
He plans to complete a master's degree and go on to a career in renewable energy technology.
McManus, a student at the Fulton campus, is a 2006 graduate of Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School.
He will transfer to Cornell University to pursue dual majors in economics and governance, as preparation for a law degree and a career in corporate law.
