Dan Bryant and Gretchen Ast married
Newlyweds Dan
and Gretchen Bryant spent the first hours of their marriage
sporting orange, cheering for Syracuse University men's
basketball and booing a few Georgetown fans.
The couple was married at the University Sheraton Hotel this
morning, then led their wedding party of 65 up the hill to
celebrate at the game, before returning to the Sheraton for a
traditional reception. The groom, 27, is a teacher at
Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School, and the bride, 25, is a
real estate agent.
Although the wedding took place on Valentine's Day, the holiday was
not a factor for the dedicated SU fans.
